Strong in all federal states

Special Olympics Germany currently has more than 40,000 athletes organised in 16 state associations and offering a wide range of sports. They offer a wide range of exercise and sports activities throughout the year. The aim is to offer people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to take part in sports in order to encourage their participation in society.
