Together unbeatable! The regional association Special Olympics Bavaria (SOBY) was founded in 2004. With the unifying and inclusive power of sport, SOBY aims to help its athletes in Bavaria gain more attention, more recognition and more social participation. With a variety of competitions, activity days, educational and health programmes, SOBY is a strong partner for inclusion in Bavaria.

Every two years, SOBY also organises the regional games and winter games in alternating years. These events bring people together and ensure greater understanding and awareness. They are unforgettable and emotional highlights and showcases for participation and inclusion in Bavaria.

SOBY and its athletes have been inspiring people from the foothills of the Alps to the Rhön, from the Fichtelgebirge to the Allgäu, from the Bavarian Forest to the Upper Bavarian lakes for 20 years now.
